De Tentoonstelling
Tien jaar na zijn aantreden bij Balenciaga (2015), presenteert Demna een retrospectief van zijn carrière aan het hoofd van het modehuis, voordat hij naar Gucci vertrok. De tentoonstelling onthult:
Iconische stukken: Emblematische silhouetten, opvallende samenwerkingen (inclusief de Balenciaga Music merchandise gewijd aan Britney Spears).
Revolutionaire esthetiek: Sculpturale volumes, popcultuur referenties en een heropleving van haute couture (na een afwezigheid van 50 jaar).
Laatste collectie "Exactitudes" (Lente 2026): Een mix van archiefstukken, originele creaties en persoonlijke stukken van Demna.
Historische Context
2015-2025: Demna herdefinieert Balenciaga door streetwear en luxe te combineren, met provocerende campagnes en een triomfantelijke terugkeer van couture.
