Over 1,000 lanterns illuminate five hectares of unique themed universes, from the icy Arctic to a mysterious jungle, passing through poetic Japan, for an unforgettable sensory experience.

This family-friendly route, dotted with captivating shows, awakens the senses and creates lasting memories in the heart of a Parisian winter.

Dates and Duration

From November 19, 2025, to January 11, 2026, this third edition extends the magic of lights right through the Christmas holidays, open daily except December 24 and 25.

The visit lasts about 1h30, offering a relaxed pace to explore the installations at your leisure.

Opening Hours

Open from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM (last entry at 9:30 PM), the exhibition adapts to the setting sun to maximize the effect of the illuminations, with drone shows scheduled at 6:45 PM, 7:45 PM, and 8:45 PM.

Closed on December 24 and 25, it remains accessible in all weather, although outdoor shows depend on weather conditions.

Artistic Context

Organized by Francesco Bouglione's team and produced by Mille et Une Lumières, this exhibition draws on the tradition of Chinese lanterns to create contemporary installations blending craftsmanship and technology, such as continuously projected auroras and giant luminous bubbles by artist Alberto Leone.

New in 2025, synchronized drone shows light up the sky with poetic patterns, connecting festive heritage and digital innovation along a 2 km route that has already delighted thousands of visitors in previous editions.

Inspired by Asian light festivals, L'Odyssée Lumineuse celebrates universal wonder, transforming the Parc Floral – a botanical garden created in 1969 for the World's Fair – into a space where nature and magic converse for a poetic meditation on the universe and its mysteries.
