Solo Exhibition by Sefa Çatuk (born 1992 in Istanbul, represented by AWC Contemporary): personal mythologies merging universal religious/social narratives, current political realities, customs, rituals, and ironic reinterpretations of historical masterpieces.
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon imagines a utopian garden blending ancient myth, history, and the present, inspired by natural rhythms (horizontal, vertical, diagonal) within a stratified symbolic universe. Curated by: Ayça Okay & Sinda Drine.
