The Bourdelle Museum presents its first major French retrospective of Magdalena Abakanowicz, a leading figure in contemporary sculpture and a pioneer of textile art. Titled "The Thread of Existence", the exhibition features 80 works—including her famous "Abakans"—in the newly renovated Portzamparc wing. This powerful chronological and thematic journey explores monumentality, political censorship, and the human condition through organic sculptures blending fiber, wood, and metal.
